MEET VIN

Vin (Vinay) Kruttiventi is a husband, father, community leader, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. His commitment to community service was shaped early in life by his family. His grandfather in India was a freedom fighter who worked alongside Mahatma Gandhi, while his father, a prominent journalist, instilled in him the values of hard work, courage, integrity, and giving back to the community. Growing up around journalism also gave Vin a natural curiosity, an appreciation for facts, and a determination to understand problems and find solutions.

Vin is a successful entrepreneur with more than two decades of business leadership experience. He has founded, built, and led multiple successful companies across different industries, creating jobs and opportunities along the way. Among them was A5, a global business and technology consulting firm that Vin founded and grew into a successful company. His experience as an entrepreneur has given him firsthand knowledge of what it takes to build organizations, manage large budgets, create jobs, develop people, and navigate challenging economic environments. He is a strong advocate for entrepreneurship, job creation, and expanding economic opportunity in Pleasanton and throughout the Tri-Valley.

Community service has remained an important part of Vin's life. As Chairman of the Vinay Kruttiventi Foundation, he works with nonprofits, entrepreneurs, and small businesses throughout the Greater Bay Area, Tri-Valley, and Central Valley. The Foundation focuses on mentoring organizations and business owners, helping them develop the strategies, skills, and resources they need to become stronger and more sustainable.

Vin has also worked with more than 40 cultural, community, and nonprofit organizations, bringing people together across different backgrounds and supporting organizations dedicated to strengthening their communities. He believes successful communities are built when residents, businesses, nonprofits, and local leaders work together toward common goals.

When he isn't working or volunteering in the community, Vin enjoys hiking, watching basketball and baseball with friends, and, most importantly, spending time with his wife and two daughters.
